I was working on my steering column, and blew a 30 amp fuse. replaced fuse but now I have no gauges and car will not start. Also, the blinking light for the security on the radio will not turn on.
THere are not any lights on in the cluster when the ignition is turned. The open door chime works when key is in and the door is open. everything else works just fine. nothing dealing with the ignition works. Wondering if the ignition module fried or something and thus it has no response for the key turning in it?
Well the lock cylinder anyways. any help asap would be appreciated as this is my only car
I am wondering of i masnaged to screw up the ignition starter switch. Thinking of buying a new one tomorrow and finding out
Ignore this thread. After going through and continuity testing fuses, found the IGN fuse in the engine area was bad even though to the naked eye it was in perfect condition.
