Steering Wheel Swap
Tuesday, November 06, 2012 5:28 AM
Did a steering wheel swap in my 99 sunfire and did not keep the clockspring on the steering column. Now I have the momo hub adapter and wheel on. Am I looking at any wiring issues or grounding issues or any issues from not having the clockspring there any more?

Thanks

Yup I will figure that out as I am sure there are a few ways to tap into it or something. Any other possible issues from removing the clockspring?

Again curious if there are any issues with removing the SIR Coil from the steering column and not putting back on after installing aftermarket steering wheel.

Thanks

You'll have no horn or airbag, and obviously your airbag light will always be on.. Its fine if its your car but never do something like that for someone else, liability issue..
