hypsy wrote:ok i got a new screw for mine. i got a flat head philips 10x1.5in screw. its a little bigger in diameter that the original screw to so youll need a 5/32in drill bit instead of the 1/8th inch they say.

did you have to use different screws than the ones sent or am i just confused as to what you are talking about?

Got Mine and that last pod on the bottom is kinda off, but whatever at least we got it done.

yeah i noticed they kinda messed up the bottom pod. thats not how i had it. oh well works for me. thats where my most important gauge is going i need the whole thing viewable

cavyaddict: you need a longer screw. if you test fit the pod you'll understand.

i only have one screw holding it on right now...the bottom is held in by the compression of the dash against. ill throw some gauges in it and see if it stays in place. but so far so good <br>

Not sure how long the office had it but I finally picked it up today! I have to say I like it. The gauge placement on the one I have seems to be so that all are visible. It looks different than the way hypsy had it in his pics. I just wish the unpainted ones were untextured as well but its just a bit more sanding.

Now I just need somplace warm to switch them out. Too bad we are in the middle of a 3 day blizzard!

Thanks to everyone for responding to my emails and not losing hope!

Thank you hypsy for not giving up on this as well.

when you install these guages...i understand and it makes sence to get the longer screws but my question is....are there existing holes there for the screw to go in or do you have to drill them??

anyone elses pod fit like @!#$??? when i get the top to line up nicely, the bottom sticks up from the dash about 3/8 of an inch. also, the edge of the pillar butts up against the metal lip preventing the weatherstripping from going over the lip. anyone elses like this???
