Garden, i dont know for the insert, everything is ok!!
for the paint i used SEM paint on the air bag and on the upper door panel.
but i used fusion for everything else and on the dash also, and the dash is a fly trap!!!
I will be redoing everything soon in fiberglass if i can learn it LOL!
or i'll try that flex agent in automotive paint.
wow, no 2nd gen's yet
well my OLD car was a 89 sunbird and here is the interior for that.
not to fancy i know, but with my new sunbird, things will be much better.
Thanks everyone for the great ideas, I have some really good ideas for this summer, and of course, more ideas to spend more money

Here it is, but huge changes coming soon.
do you guys do this yourself or have it done? if self, what kind of paint used? if not, what kind of coin ??? thanks guys
nice pics
I think most people do it themselves... it really isnt that hard it just takes a lot of time and patience . .. or so I've heard
just wondering how many of you guys kept the textured look and how many of you... took and smoothed it all out and how yu did it...
thanks

Mine is somewhat smooth i used 220, then primered it 3 coats or primer let it dry for about a day sanded it with 400 to smooth it out a bit then used krylon fusion sprayed 1 coat let it dry sprayed a 2nd coat fixed any runs and then like 3 coats of clear coat on it.
time wise 1 - 1 1/2 month`s its not going to be something your going to do overnight take your time if you want it to look good

You mean to get the center console off? if so what i did after i took off the shift knob i madea very small cut in the leather that goes around the ebrake and slid it over top of the handel and after you take the center console out you will notice that the center console is really 2 parts screwed together.
