the rain is supposed to finally let up tomorrow, so that means i can finally open the doors, pull the dash back out, and get working on the bezel.
i got the tach adapter today, i was hoping to be able to put it up under the dash, but the way it wires in, that will not be able to happen...... so i gotta figure out where i wanna mount that. i think i might make a new coil bracket, and mount it there.
with that being said, the tach adapter just needs the ignition pos. so with the neon ignition swap, i dont need to tap the pink wire in the harness, i can use the pos going to the neon coil. correct?
here is a shot of the mirrors on the car, i cant find a picture of the switch. i will snap a picture for ya when i get everything opened up tomorrow for you.

i am looking into a steering wheel at gravana, and i can not find any link to contract them. i am wondering if the momo 2401 steering wheel adapter is the correct adapter for m3. 2001 coupe. i am looking at the tenzo turismo wheel.

sounds about right for the hub couldnt tell you about the wheel tho since I went momo and they are on the pricier side.

well i got the shift light/tach working today thurday i am scheduled to get the o2 sensor welded in for the wideband. tomorrow is just some cleaning up of some things, hopefully switching the gauges around, finishing up some things with the trunk, just cleaning up in general. i wil keep everyone posted.
ok, sorry, never got the mirror switch posted, so here is that along with an update on the dash!
its finally coming together. the shift light is amazing, and i will have the o2 welded in for the wideband tonight. headed up to the shop about 5:30 6. (after they close) so.... we should have some fun tonight.

yeah. like i said. the mirror switch piece was one of my first fiberglass projects. its due to be re-done as soon as everything is taken care of with the dash.
I'd move the mirror switch in place of the cigarette lighter.
well, just got back from the shop. we got the wideband in and working, and i must say... WOW... the car is lean as @!#$..... 11.3 under hard accel. so i guess we got some fuel mods coming, and i had already been planning on hptuners.... i guess i had some good timing...

well everything is physically in the car minus the glove box door.... long story.....
on a side note. i think the shift light will be going back. wasnt in the car a week, and the shift light is no longer working. gotta call n raise hell, see if autometer has any quick fixes.....
plan on taking the car out for a long afternoon/night of photos tomorrow night. so keep an eye out in photos n media.
