and the only peice you need is the part that the hood latch mounts to... the one that mounts to the core support and has arma off of it that go down behind the bumper...

. You have the latch/striker itself on the hood, and the latch assembly on the core support. We drilled new holes and raised the assembly on the core support to match the '03's we had for reference. Look exactly like the '03, though the latch/striker on the Sunfire latch was shorter in length and only allowed it to latch on the safety latch, and not fully. So he ordered the '03 latch/striker and all is perfect.
Keep in mind, he didn't have the latch/striker assembly like you already did, and we moved the assembly on the core support to match the '03's. He also ordered the small brackets that go up on the crushguard just for in between the headlights, and the small brackets on each side that go from the unibody to the fender.

I got the hood striker and brackets today and the hood fits perfect now. Just gotta get ahold of 03 ls sport side skirts and 95-99 rear so if anyone knows of someone selling any let me know, preferably white.
The white's actually matched up pretty well from what I can tell for being years apart steve.

Chad did you forget your 02 front end swap, carbon heat extractor hood, custom fiberglassed interior, NITROUS OXIDE, new shocks, etc. etc.
Im really starting to like the cavfire, sunalier whatever you want to call them conversions. Must mislead people to have one car approach them, then have it switch to another car once you pass!

I do not know, hell I think I sourced out almost everything for him now.
Fenders will be primered this week with a sealer, guess the vents weren't primered so well to begin with, though they're not meant to be on a car as is, and we should have known that.

Well it isnt completly stock but its not what i would call a georgus car. It looks like any other blue cav.

I never talk down on somebody's car and especially wouldn't if I had never seen the damn thing!! The car has a headlight conversion, smoked headlamps, a carbon fiber heat extractor hood, black tails, motegi wheels, dual exhaust. That's not what I would think "looks like every other blue cav" so to speak.
Joe- It's ok you guys did good work. I can't wait to see it painted. It's kinda weird seeing my old front on a fire.

Hey joe you A#$hole I've found my own parts before, like the fenders I got those on my own. LOL but hey your a whore and whores know where to find stuff. So I just need to get the fenders primed and or somewhat painted for now just so it looks half way decent.

stands out to me, specially all the trick @!#$ he has made himself. and of course its a work in progress... just cuz it dosent have a huge body kit dosent mean its not a gorgeous (sp?) car.
