the wheels came with the car when I bought it used, an ex-g/f of mine decided to scratch up alot of my car so I decided Black primer hood and trunk is better then "Im a faggot ass" eh? Its all being replaced anyways, and no Im not going for a C/F look Im not even wanting carbon fiber anything cept maybe tails. so In short
1. Yes, the hood and trunk are being replaced and painted OEM color.
2. Yes I hate the rims as much as you guys.
3. Its a progress, Im not finished
And I have most turbo parts of my MX-6 onto my Cavalier.

twister: i dont think it look all that bad......i feel like everyone should start somewhere, i say just paint your hood and trunk oem(same color as car)but while youre at it just shave your inners or even go with toyota tails...something different. but the wheels are tolerable, different,but tolerable. good luck with getting it together.

Last owner musta thought that a 4x4!! My summer tires are 205/45R16 (LS Sport rims) and winter are 195/50R16 (steelies & caps). Check around in classifieds for used rims, esp. w/ tires.
At least do the best 'rattle can' spray job you can on the hood and trunk to match the car. It'll look a lot better if you get "close" to the OE than flat black is. I sprayed the rear half of my trunk (below spoiler) last summer after a de-badging mishap (dayum me and my knife) and bondoing around the lock (full car shave in progress now).
Before ya'll comment about orange-peel, about half the paint is peeled off b/c of cold weather after I sprayed directly onto the original paint. 10 foot rule - 10 or more looks good, less than 10 looks bad, hah. Besides, like I said above, full shave coming this spring (I started making the filler pieces for the 4 handles last nite)
