ZeeTwankyFo almost has AIR! Completed settup pics!

First I would like to appologize for being away from JBOI for so long, I have been tied up with school!

I just finished buying everything I need to finish. Should be done by mid week next week. I ordered another compressor for the other side of the tank, 20ft more of air line, a pressure switch, and a couple fittings.

This week I have added a window in the false floor, and raised the floor about 1.5" off of the trunk base. I also made another false floor to mount the valves on under the window. I wrapped both of the floors with black vinyl, ran all of the power wires, got my electric wireless remote hooked up, ect, ect.

After all of the floors and hardware were mounted, I ran the air lines from the tank to the valves. Within the next week I will run the lines under the car, throw the cylinders on, and slammmmm my S#!T lol. Ill add more pics when the air ride is complete. Let me know what you think of the settup.

BTW: I am adding strobes and white neons.

Plastic lining the trunk, ready for expandable foam to insulate and help keep the 2nd false floor in the right spot.

False floor in to mold shape.

Closer shot

Me utting hole out of the upper false floor so you can see the valves.

Me cutting again

Window cut and fabric restapled

False floor for valves done! Extra fabric to cover sides of spare tire well.

Bottom side with the expandable foam base.

Plexiglass mounted attached to window, with everything wired and mounted!

Close up of compressor and water trap, to catch moisture.

Picture from the rear seat

Full settup pictures!! Excuse the saw dust and other dirtyness Pictures were taken right after install.

thats looks super clean. no room for a system though. thats the only downside to air...is its space requirement. but it looks awsome. i think it would look beter if that bar holding up the selenoids was painted black, thats just me though. props on the work. looks like you took some time on this and did it right. the way things should be done.

peace

I actually just bought some chrome spray paint and filler primer to make it smooth. I guess if it doesnt turn out good (which it probably wont with chrome paint, lol, then I will definitely go with black!

I think later on I am going to make a fiberglass enclosure where my rear seat is with 2 15" L7's. Thats after I repair and repaint my bodykit, get rims, and dynomat my trunk! lol.

I wanted to put in a floor like you did. I was wondering if you could fit 1 piece of plywood in there for the whole floor... is there a special way to slide it in there? I didnt think it would fit as one piece.

1 Piece will not fit, What I did was cut off the edges so basically I had 1 rectangle piece in the center, and wings on each side. Then I took a strong fabric like the stuff used on backpack straps and stapled it on the top of the floor along the seems were it would fold, then layed fabric over top of that. I didnt use hinges because I didnt want them poking through the vinyl. If you want pictures of how I did it msg me on AIM sometime and Ill send you some! Thanks for the comments guys.

Looks good man. I love the install. I was wondering, what did you use to raise the floor off the trunk bed 1.5"?

To raise the floor I put 3 half inch boards stacked up and screwed them to the bottom of the floor, it aint pretty...but it works. And no one will ever know!

Here are the pictures, click on them to make them bigger.
