This is kinda old news but I still love it! I've had it for a month or so now.
And I just put it in today, I didn't have to trim anything and it a very good quality unit at less than half the cost... I would highly recomend it to all 01+ owners.

Did you do the install yourself, and how long did it take you?
It's a jvc Dual XD7500, it a 55x4... It's kinda funny, the deck is 7" deep, and the dash is (in crutchfield) 6 5/8 or something, but it fits!!! It's very tight but well worth it. I got it at best buy for like $129 and it kicks ass! The blue screen is a little bright at night, but the bottom flips up into place to cover it... And the dials even light up red to match the stock ones.
And the shifter, yes it's from E-bay, i give 5 stars, it took me about an hour to do, but I've done stuff like this before so it wasn't that intimadating.. The only thing to be careful of is all the plastic @!#$ gm puts in there. The entire shifter base is made of plastic, but somehow it feels 1 million times better, almost like if falls into gear.
And exesive fire, your car is F***ing HOT!

Yea man i just bought the same shifter for 60$ on ebay and i compared it to my buddies B&M and its the same exact shifter but the B&M is blue were the ball is. But I LOVE my new short thro and i save alot of money. I woudl also recomend it and give it a 5 stars
