Put them back in the box and send them back to the person you purchased them on Ebay from. Those are just going to cause problems.. save yourself the hassel.

Ok heres my story and I think I can still save you....

I'm living proof these "ebay" coilover kits are complete junk. I have them on my car at the moment and heres my take on them. First off i have a blown rear shock, and the other rear shock is probably about to go. The front struts im surprised are lasting as long as they are. The thing rides like a tank. If you so much as hit a little dip in the road it feels like the car just ran into a ditch and the struts and shocks just blew through the towers. I've already had to replace a lower ball joint, an outer tierod, and a wheel bearing because of these monstrosities.

Save your money, even if they are a mere $35, you'll end up paying more in the end. I'm finally going to get rid of this junk and buy a really nice setup this summer thank god.

Theres a reason why the good springs cost a couple hundred dollars.

Thanks, yeah that must suck to replace all that @!#$... well im going to get my brother to have a look at them before i put them on... he is a mechanic and fixes my car so he probly wont let me put junk on...... Your car is so fuc*ing awsome by the way. By far the best cav on here!!!!!
Re: New stuff

Thanks

Just don't want anyone going through what I am. You can't tell their junk by looking at them. The problem with those things are the high as hell spring rates. They really arent made specifically for any car, but more of a universal cheapo kit.

Re: New stuff

@!#$ man i hope i can sell to someone else lol. i wasted 140 bucks on these damn things haha. Oh well i dont think i can send them back to the seller but im going to email him. Thanks

Re: New stuff

Re: New stuff
Wednesday, March 23, 2005 12:08 PM
pay for shipping and maybe 5 bucks for my taco bell
and they are yours
the boxes don't look as nice as yours do because they've been sitting in my garage untouched for quite some time now

Re: New stuff

my friend put those exact same things on his Altima. The springs are like a trampoline when it rides.....And PLEASE don't ever consider riding in the back with those springs on because you will honestly loose your lunch and the day befores (and i,m not a person to get car sick).

Its just a really crappy ride quality not to mention just a half ass made product. It was soo funny. I helped put those on his car and after we were all done we couldn't understand why it still looked stock height. ANd we all started scratching our heads and swearing for all the unnessary work.

Then as he's pulling out of the driveway.....BAM! The car just drops from stock height to a 3in drop in a matter of a millia second. and that was where all the problems started.

Now i,m not trying to preach to you about anything...i just would feel back if you went through all this work on your car and run into problems that end up costing you more money.

I went with Gold-Line Springs and Koni Reds and have never been happier

Hope this helps you out bro,

ALex

Re: New stuff

please don't put these on. i too like Meckster has had big probs with the cheap coilovers. i put them on my 2000 that i used to have. before one year was up. all struts and shocks were blown. bad ball joint and a few other problems. lets just say its not worth it.

there is a reason why good coilovers are $400 soemtimes more. If you see $400 as a regular price, and then see something on ebay for $100.....that should tell u something
