1... my suspension is pretty much done... goldline springs, koni yellows, addco rear sway bar, poly bushings on the front bar (plan on upgrading to the addco front), subframe brace, front and rear strut tower braces. ebay coilovers and $40 struts aren't enough suspension for what i like to do with the car...
2... have you ever driven a j-body with big brakes? it's worth it in my book as the stock braking system isn't all that great with even normal hp ratings. i've already my brakes fade with cross drilled/slotted rotors and upgraded pads.
^^^ i'm all about upgrading our crappy brakes...but it cost so much damn $$$
yeah, for those that checked the profile
they are yota mirrors, yippy!
Gawdamn them some awesome pics ^^^
Why don't the headlights on the 03 fit very well tho?? There's a big gap almost all the way around them. I've thought about doing an 03+ conversion so I can use that bumper, but if they all fit like that, screw it.
WOW..............very nice job on the 4 door j-body! They really look hot!

most people would assume that when you say you need to work on your suspension first, that means you have none. ncie setup though! and ebay coilovers.....ha! check out there website. there one of the best coilovers around.
big brakes......if you like them, go for it. i personally know that slotted and drilled w/Ceramic Pads work great. im taking that $1,000 for the big brake kit and building a turbo this winter. ($1,000 is alreay half!) glad to hear your cars going well.
ground controls are the only sleeve type coilovers i've heard anything good about. the rest generally offer a harsh ride. when you only pay $115 for a set of coilovers, i'd tend to question the quality of the product i'm buying. afterall, the suspension is what keeps your tires planted at all times. but hey... it's your car, it's your choice...
and as for your brakes, they work great now but when you have more power and are capable of getting yourself to high rates of speed in relatively short times, you may find that your "great" braking system that you currently have proves to be inadequate.
again, your car, your decision...

I try to
They only run them about once a month around here.
they work good for me. so im happy. all coilovers are going to ride a little rough. and if you dont get aftermarket struts.......then that there fault. i also cut down the blocks on the back, so they dont smack together......so theyre pretty much lowering springs. and more than 95% of the @!#$ said on here is from here-say. someone "heres" that they are bad......and then they tell everyone that they are bad. doesnt make since. but happy, end of story.
WOW! what a project. keep up the good work

thanks it has been a long and expensive road, i hope to have it painted by next summer along with a few other projects.
cybrstrorm... do you have sideskirts for it too? just curious because it looks a little funky with the low bumpers and then no sideskirts? looks like it will be sweet when it's done.
sh8kin<-------thats a nice
just straight up simple and smooth. nice work. im surprised this thread is doing this good.
