Wow it's been a long time coming for that bad boy, let us know how it works. I'd also be interested in what the results are going to be like on N/A applications. Maybe we'll get a group buy in the local forums

there isnt going to be 3 bar support. They can only use the software already created by GM. They cant/dont write there own software for 2 bar support. So if you have a 2000+ LD9 or ecotec cavalier you can get 2 bar support which i think its good for 14.5 PSI.

but that doest mean that you still cant tune your AF ratios to be exactly where you want it to be. So dont get all depressed

^ Yup, and that doesn't mean you can't get a decent tune past 14.7 PSI or so, there are still TONS of editable parameters, like being able to change injector sizes, then recalibrate what "stoich" is to be 12.5 or whatever you want it to be. You could also use a 3 bar sensor and just position the tables correctly to get a decent tune all the way up to 30 psi.

besides utilizing factory sensors what other advantages does
HP have that your run of the mill standalone doesnt.

I think the only thing Im realllly sold on is trans tuning. this is an auto boosters best freind. what does it do to smooth up shifts?

Well, this has the advantage of a NO WIRING INVOLVED standalone basically. As far as shifts go, you can set the shift points and trans pressures wherever you want them, you can even lock the TC if you wanted to (will break things).

So.....Is it basically a Mega-Squirt minus the complicated wiring and putting it together?

Its actually quite a bit more than a megasquirt can do, plus you have a base tune to start with (stock file).

Its more than that...... Basically we now have COMPLETE control of editing parameters within the PCM....Fuel trims, timing control, trans control etc......The list keeps going... People should really check out their site to get a better understanding of what a great tuning tool this is....
