Well seeing as the other thread got moved, I'll just make a progress thread for those interested...

This is where I'm at, totaled the blue car and bought an 01 base, in process of swapping everything over.

Stock:





Day 1:

The yellows and ground controls:







And the B&M STS w/ cobalt ss/sc shift knob:

two things:
one, you are missing a lug nut
and two, put the @!#$ hubcaps back on, it looks like @!#$ with just steelies

good luck on the rebuild man, sucks to hear about the blue car... Im keepin my fingers crossed for ya hopin to see some massive ECO horsepower numbers, and super low quarter miles.. car looks like a good starting point, interior looks like it could use a good douchin though lol

Keep it up curt. One thing though. Did u take apart the r/f strut/coil assembly and double check that the strut was not bent? It was a hard impact on that side and even the slightest bent in the strut will have an affect.

Day 2:

Not much to report. A LOT OF TEAR DOWN!!!! Not too many pics. Interior's (my gauges and all that) completely stripped outta the blue car. White car stripped down on the interior ready for wiring and gauge install. Had to make a trip to Milwaukee last night to get a fuel pump, Walbro 255 lph, thanks Brian for the awesome deal on this.

Day 3 Plan:

We plan on having the ecotec out by the end of work today, which will be 5, gotta take time for the girls tonight. We might possilbly also have the ln2 outta the white one as well today all depends on motivation.

Thanks guys. Hope to report back w/ pics of an eco in an 01.
