Great work on the bracket. I modified a cruise control brack I think off a pre 99 to mount my coils to. It works and havent had any issues.

Wow I cant belive it one of my posts brought back from the dead. The funny thing is I still havent picked up any wire clips/organizers. Ill have to maybe do that soon.

I have been meaning to update this post, but I kept forgetting about it

I was originally going to use a cruise crontrol bracket, but I wanted to try something different. Only thing I have left to do is get a shorter wire set and attach the wire separater clips

you can get one from either place. Just depends on how much you want to pay for it. I'm pretty sure it's cheap

Can you explain how you did that? It looks like you used a sheet metal and bend it into place, not from a cruise control bracket...whatever that is .... I will be doing this mod sometime soon since I finally found a good set off from a 98 Cav.

I would relocate that air filter location asap. (move the battery into the back, and get it going into the fender, or up front near the bumper. It is going to be sucking in some MIGHTY warm air in come summer time.

The problem is trying to find a CAI for a cheap price. I put that on there for the time being after putting in the MSD b/c the old WAI was in the way.

I will be changing this setup as soon as I find a cheap CAI. Or I might fab something up. Anyone have an links to some cheap Cold air intakes?

I've already started on my process in making my own CAI (very similar to my old custom HZR CAI set up from my previous Supercharged Cavalier) Pic below

and the battery has already been relocated in the back. On the Battery tray, it will have OIL Catch Can and Battery disconnect switch. (which is already installed) Then Ill be doing the 2.2 Coil conversion. Im not really sure where Im going to set the 2.2 Coils yet but I think it'll be very similar to CavRacing01's style. The shorter the wire is, the better. The only reason why Im doing this 2.2 Coil Conversion is, I live in Arizona where summer is very hot and I like to be able to check my plugs and not worry about my IDI housing crack apart on me. So far everyone has claimed they noticed the car is running more smoother with this set up so I figured I'd go ahead and see for myself and i can also call it a "mod" lol. Besides that, I hate the black "boots" that is used to plug on the sparkplugs. Those things are a piece of s#it. They break on me all the time.

Is that the same for ecotecs. My supercharged ecotec is miss firing and I think this might do the trick.
