Today we pulled Micahs tranny and installed a spec stage 2, aluminum flywheel and Team Green limited slip differential insert.
Big thanx goes out to Rob of Weatheralls Auto for the use of the shop. Cant thank you enough bro

Getting started.

Supporting engine.

Parts.

Huh? 2 Getrags???:roflwtf:

Tearing into Micahs getrag.

Apart, differential gone.

Differential before.

Team Green LSD insert.

Installed.

Trans back together.

I didnt take any pics of re-assembly, we just wanted to get it done. Micah and Rob took a few pics, so they will post them when they can.
But here is one of the car all done

Oh, by the way, Rob got a couple pics showing both wheels spinning

both my wheels always spun during a burnout or whatever... never ever had a one wheeler... only time i hated not having an lsd was when I was hitting 12psi+. I'd be turning my steering wheel 3/4 turn back and forth and be going straight

It was the first time that Rob or I had done this. We just loaded up and followed the steps
The other Getrag in the pics is my 3800. We were going to get the LSD installed into that aswell yesterday, but we were too tired. lol
So we will do it sometime this week.

You guys know you didn't have to pull that back cover off the trans right? You just gotta take the allen out of the inside of the bell and all the casing bolts and it separates with a little persuasion.

Hope you like your better then i do... Worked good at the begning but as the season went on my 60 foot times skyrocketed again. And i was noticing TONS of torque steer again. So i tore the trans out and i guess after 13k miles and about 50 track passes it wasnt doing anything for me except grinding down my side gears in the diff
