we cut the top because all the body panels get gutted to just skinsall the will be left are strut towers and firewall everything else is fabbed

Brad rules might now allow dohc, if you haven't noticed Bob does sweet builds a lot, I'm sure he'd do them on a dohc engine if it were allowed.

we use a cavalier because with the mods we are allowed and cars we run with they are damn near the fastest. we have to use an 8 valve motor so ln2 will be in this one as well, although it will be the full built 200hp ln2
wow. theres really not much left. lol. My buddy races cavaliers up here in the UP. Theres a place in Norway. He never guts them down THAT far though. geez

run an SOHC 2.3 quad 4 then...

whats the point? all you would gain is 0.1L of displacement. the SOHC quad came with 120 HP and 140 lbs-ft of TQ, about the same as an LN2 out of the box.

hmmm i didnt realize the single cam 2.3 was so weak...
he sohc would be better then the ohv still though... more potential IMO.

the potential might be there in the fact that you might be able to steal alot of the quad/twincam parts, but the LN2 guys have made some awesome discoveries and it makes for a pretty damn good motor. it really sucks that a 16V can't be used...
