Mine ran to 330,000 miles on the original motor although it did go through about 4 alternators. I still search for one in mint condition on Ebay and Autotrader occassionally.

One more year and you can get classic plates!

Trunk rack stays!!!! Im gonna keep the exterior as OEM as possible for now. Phase 2 trunk/spoiler would be nice if I can find one for a hell of a deal.

Fox: those are my DVS' in the trunk. I skated back in high school (lol 2003!!) and I never got used to normal shoes so Im always rocking them. Call me a poser. Whatever!

After I wrecked my 74 Mercury Montego, I picked up a maroon one just like that...LOVED IT!!! Then my dad sold it to my (then) fiance, and she totaled it later.

Since owning this thing a week I have noticed two things. Everyone has either owned one or wanted one when in HS. Had no idea this car had such a following.

Just threw my Optima in it today. The battery in the car was getting weak.

HIDs come wednesday! I will be sure to post pics of them installed.

Mine was this same blue, and a 5spd. Car was soooo damn fun!!!!

Phase 1 FTW! Although I would enjoy a phase 2 spoiler/deck lid.. someday.

I have a set of Phase 2 taillights in the garage. I'm not a fan really. They look odd with this rear bumper.

I do kinda miss the Freshcort... Till I stomp on it from a light and rip the front tires loose with this car.
