Pardon the dusty bumper, its just on for some test fitting

I ordered my turbo on moday, I should see it in two weeks tops. Very excited about that
I havent decided if im going to cut my bumper yet, Id like to get some more air flowing through it though as its kinda blocked where it sits now. Possibly just cut the center where the plate cover goes right out, I dunno im open to idea's at this point

Haha yup... apparently the pictures hate me. Cut the cavalier filler plate section out, and than you choice for the rest of it

I would definately be cutting out the plate section for more airflow.

alright, well I didnt get nearly as much done on the weekend as I wanted to as I had to do a waterpump on my sisters 97z which as some of you know is a nightmare. Got hers finished up last night and its running good with no leaks so I can go back to working on mine. I decided to cut the filler plate out. More to come in the next couple weeks, turbo should be here and I can start building my charge piping(fingers crossed)

I dont think I can do that, the mounting location for the tabs are gone. I think it would just fall out if I tried lol

Turbo is on, charge piping should be here in a couple days. T304 stainless 2 inch for the hot side and 2.5 for the intake side. Il be able to start fabbing up the pipes over the weekend and fingers crossed have them done next week sometime.

And a question for you guys, on the coolant lines running to the heater core, what is the plastic peice that connects the two just near the firewall? Looks to me like some kind of valve? Do I need to keep it or can I just go ahead and make my own coolant lines? Thanks!

Comin a long man!

Are you talking about the H connection that is on the stock heater hoses? If so you do not need to keep that, you can make your own.

Yes thats exactly what I was talking about. Thanks! Just out of curiousity, what is that H for? Am I right that its some kind of valve? Thanks again

I am not really sure what that is for exactly, I know Gary(John317) knows. But you will be ok not to use it, there are plenty of people that do without it who are turboed
