must be the pics. it was a normal stock LS1 tb which are all 75. was going to do a fast 90mm but not worth it. this will be plenty big.

Is it still a 75mm throttle plate?

Re: Supporting Mods

^^ I talked to the same guy that did Vince's TB. He said stock 75mm isn't true 75mm. It's 72.1mm. With his port work he makes it TRUE 75mm.

I was asking since it looks like stock throttle plate and when i measured mine i think i did get 75mm.I can see the difference after throttle plate.

Re: Supporting Mods

i got the 75mm tb ready to go in the basement lol

Re: Supporting Mods

I guess that makes sense to brads question. yes the new is true 75mm. and the half retainer opens up airflow even more. he told me the cfm increase but i cant recall what he told me just by removing the plate. but a lot less turbulence as well. well worth the price for the guy to do it. and the polished iac is very nice looking as well. Price was under $100.

^^^ yeah. i thought the one on the right looked smaller but figured it was just the polishing that was altering the way it looked.

thats good to know on the size though. its cool you now have it larger...

i dont get how they 'port' out 3mm though... that kind of increase requires a larger blade.

its almost like one of those mysteries lol. i wonder too where they find the material to take out.

after seeing a nasty honda hatch tonight, and riding in a evo x, im pretty content for a while

oh yeah and FYI, fetter now has my car in his possession.
