oh the reason i said mainly silver is i dont wanna have to change the engine bay just yet terry just saves time and funds at this point of the rebuild , but as i just said who knows what color the painter is gonna decide to do hahahahahahaha
Steve-O wrote:yeah, either way, you see it as idiocy, i see it as criticism, take it how you want. i see old habits die hard
and i can take criticism steve o just when you seem to type something it seems like your being sarcastic as you usually are to people so what old habits do you see die hard ? you didnt like when somebody said something about your back bumper sagging on the car and here you say something that it looks goofy ive never said crap about your car besides it looks good i dont take offence to criticism but i do take offense to bashing of peoples cars and the way i read it took it as you are bashing my car cause it had both wings on there if you didnt like it you didnt have to look at it is my opinon see steve everybody like different things , not everybody can be happy in the car scene , i was just explaining i didnt put it on in the first place with both wings the dealership i bought the car brand new from did but dont worry steve things are changing for the better and hopefully alot of people actually like the changes when completed but im sure there will be some out there that wont but again everybody has there own opinon
Going to be great to see your car redone shawn; we have some nice jbodys in our city here and i am glad most of us that owned our j for a long period of time is still running the jbody...
Hot shots do some amazing paint work , i also like what overall does; cant wait to see how your car turns out

Looking good. Always good to see evil eyes, and it looks like you did a nice job. In Steve-o's defence, your responce to him initially telling you it would look better to remove the stock spoiler made it seem like you thought th rk could only be used with the stocker. I also didn't know any dealerships put on the rk kits. Was the hood in that deal too?

yes the dealer in saint john nb built the car with kit and all as that is how i ordered it and it was the hood ,the wing and all the ground effects incl gt door panels and it cost me a fortune for them to do it back in 2002 3200 cdn without paint or labour that was my point ,i understand he dont like the dual wings but that was his opinon and i know steve from down here and the way he usually talks to or about people thats why i got defensive towards him is all ,no biggie as i said its water under the bridge
i just speak my mind, either way, kepp the 2 wings, dont, either way, a huge spoiler like that isnt remotely needed on a FWD car, hence why i dont have one, mind you i will, but i need a 3rd brake light anyways to pass mvi, so it might as well be aftermarket

we drive a jbody the wings on most of our cars dont do anything , as they are not for that its all appearance in my mind

The 2 spoilers COMPLIMENT eachother on the Sunfire anyway. A LOT of 2001-2002 Fires in Michigan were sold that way. I think they look good. We all have our own opinions. PERIOD.
Steve- O, what is the Purpose or function of your HURE front bumper cover???? Let me guess, looks. Right? Same as spoilers buddy. Think about it.

nah steve o i sold the full lip kit to a guy in the valley
and sndsgood i found the 2 wings looked weird to but as i said in before posts i didnt put it on there the dealer ship did it all so i wasnt body man type so left it there but now changes are coming
and when i said painter can choose didnt mean it in the way it was taken i have ideas and its still gonna be silver just debating to add the blue sparkle like i wanted it too before , just my new painter always makes them look good he just adds his own little touches from what ive seen on other peoples cars that he did , he will run it by me just this is the first time ive used this painter but from what i seen on a few of my buddies car he does awesome work that is what i meant by what he decides sorry for not explaining myself
damn

sndsgood wrote:oh okay, the way it sounded it was like your going to drop it off and then he'll paint it what he wants on his own. ive known guys like that, that want to decide what color or what design etc etc because they "are the artist" type of thing.
when i first bought my car in 2002 i so wanted to have the silver car with blue flames and than i seen you did it first so was like nope need it changed now hahahahahahahaha damn you sndsgood hahahahaha , but i do wanna keep most of my car silver so thats what its gonna be just probably add alot of color change blue sparkle or a lot of blue pearl to it i told the painter in certain light i want the car to look silver in other light i want it to blue or change to blue metallic or something like that i can picture what i want just dont know if its possible
