haha, Well if you want to sell the kit minus the turbo cavalier let me know! I can't seem to find an LSS stock bumper(dealer wants $300 minus paint) and I don't like the looks of any other bumper but that one.

Progress pics and me = FAIL. I got the toyo fenders and the bumper on this afternoon. The car does to the shop on Tuesday (the same day I leave for Miami). When I return, the sides will be on and the deer hit fixed. I'll be coming home from vacation to a new car.

Anyway......

I think it looks good. I just wish black didnt hide the lines so much on the front.

im interested to see how it meets up at the fender as well!

A few shots from this morning - I know, I know the rest of the car is filthy but yesterday was my first day off in two weeks and time ran short and i refuse to run her thru the car wash (especially now).

Anyway, thanks for the comments. The fender lines are not as bad as I thought they would be (from what I have read from everyone else with the kit) where they meet the bumper.

Jew - I fly into O-town on the 23rd then me and my boy from Mt. Dora are driving to Miami for WMC on the 25th. I'll be in Orlando but wont have time to meet up. I get down there 3x a year so maybe another time.

Anyway, here are some daylight pics and a teaser at the end. I hope to have the body completely done by May (hood and rear) and get her lowered by July. Don't mind the small gaps at the headlights - waiting for Benham to finish the shrouds on the FX35s so these are some Ebay OEMs with broken tabs in the back that dont allow them to sit right. Also, don't diss the old school Z24 wheels - the RacingHarts are making noise in the basement as we speak and should be on within 2 weeks once I know for certain the snow is gone.

the fitment between the bumper and fender is really killing it for me. looks good otherwise.

looks really good in the daylight

not a fan of seeing the stock bumper in the top center, the "fins" dont look right. and Im glad that i didnt use that big flat piece for the grill area.

and i see thats an aftermarket stock rear bumper as well.

Somewhat undecided on the grille insert piece which is why I havent cut anything in that portion of the OEM bumper. The one thing that I do like is that it hides the bowtie; which is why i bought an aftermarket rear - no chevrolet notation above the plate.

Im stoked to get everything put together and cleaned up - looks a bit redic without sides and filthy but the endzone is within reach. Until i decide to start something else of course. Not sure if I am more excited to be in Miami or to come home to a finished car. Oh yeah, then Vegas 3 weeks later for my birthday/mayweather v mosley may trump all.

Yeah i can see why you got rid of the bowtie. maybe you can cut and fusor the stock piece so the opening is a bit bigger. it just looks weird to me lol. to each their own though. not my car.

and check your pm's in a bit lol for the rear bumper

as for all the comments on the sides fender meet.... its not his fault, its the kit lol. darkstars is the only one who fixed it so far, and i got mine better.

Shaun, i wonder if the toyo's are making it fit worse at that point though...

get the whole thing done

yeah i think black hides its lines too much.

but i dont know what other color you could paint the center... if anything it would look good in cf. white might not be bad or a graphite color or something. but you would have to tie it in some how.
