that is awesome man, all that custom work that went in to make that work must feel definitely worth it now that its in

i always wondered if the northstar would fit in a cavalier, since my dads last car was a northstar. think a 350 would fit in?

once again, very nice work

X2

I think mine fell off.

My god I love your car and vote you for the next calender project! That is a total thing of beauty. I'm thinking it's going to suffer like hell in hard corners but in a straight line it's gonna be a tire burner! *subscribed!*

Way to push the envelope man. I don't want to be the person to yell and scream for more pics but doing so could draw a hell of a lot of exposure to your car and it would spread all over the net. Excellent job, I'm in love with the quality of fabrication work, everything looks top notch.

I remember an old SCC I read several years back that had an older VW with that same Northstar swapped into it, the clearance looks to be about the same.

What are you running for a transmission out of curiosity? Seeing that it's a manual makes me wonder a lot... hm282 or 284? Or something totally different, not that there are many gm others to choose from... Anyways, again uber props man, way to light my imagination on fire!

I can't help but to wonder about the clearence in the one pic for engine movement? its so tight in there.

CAS- running the NVG transmission. The control arms are shortened (and upper mounts modified) to make room for the planned wheels for the front, sort of the same reason its tubbed.

Boosted2Point4- Actually a friend of mine spent a LOT of time helping me with the engine bay sanding, so it wasnt as bad as it should have been

tha_prowler- Tha makes two of us who cant wait for it to run

Matt Linke- the caddilacemlem will stay, kind of defeats the purpose to change that

Acav2envy- the engine mounts aresolid enough that there wont be enough engine movement to cause clearance issues

Thank you everyone for the comments, very much appreciated!

Now with northstar V8, IRS, 20's n 22's
