nice! no finish welds?
for that line... just ditch it and use a burp screw off like a V6.
I am also looking for ideas with that coolant line.. So far I cut my bracket off but no clue how to route it safely.. Might heat wrap it and tuck it away as best as possible.
Let me know if you figure something out!

i cut it off, added a compression fitting and routed it underneath my ho manifold
I cut mine off almost in half, then slide an SS hose on that bitch with a couple of clamps. Clean looking. But mine is still in the same stock location. You will have to cut it more towards the drivers side then put an SS hose on it if you need flexibility for room with your manifold.

Yep..no finish welds. I bought it from an org member who did not finish the project. In a way I am glad it is not finished, because it is for an Ecotec and it will need some changes made to it to fit my LD9
As far as the coolant line....the final position of the header will dictate what I am going to do. Right now I am thinking about replacing the fitting in the head with an NPT to AN fitting, then I can run braided line where ever

Jason,
I asked my buddy at work to find out about having his son weld the header up for you. Stay tuned.

I shall do this route to save time. Thanks!

small update.
The turbo header would not work for me. The turbo was resting on the water pump, so I listed it for sale in the classifieds
Hybrid Ti retainers arrived on Weds. ( Thanks Clyde ) As soon as I can pickup a valve spring removal tool, I will swap out the Mantapart springs for a set of Rocketparts HD springs.

It has been a while for updates so here are a few
I picked up my Grand Am control arms and timing chain cover from paint. Control arm bushings are from Karo ( a long time ago, LOL!! )
I finally got around to hanging my stock hood, so I can have room to take the Evo hood off
Also pickup up this timing chain housing from IceMike

Love the color man! Glad to see the cover being used, just be careful if you swap out the fitting thats very soft alum was a bitch to tap but I used a decent amount of teflon paste since the metal is very pourus.

Yep, that is Cayenne Red. Right now ( always subject to change ), the cam towers will be powder coated chrome, intake manifold and coolant will be polished, upper engine mount, strut tower plates and any other bracket I can find will be gold or bronze
While the engine is out I will also be doing a F23 Getrag swap with OBX LSD. I have the tranny and most of the parts except for the clutch master cylinder. I am not sure I can use the Isuzu one with the Getrag
