Well I havent updated this for a little while.
The car made it to track day and made a few passes down the track. I took it easy because there is ALOT more work that needs to be done. The GMSC injectors are maxed out and I didnt get a chance to rewire and install the LSJ injectors yet. I didnt install the alky injection and my widebadn stopped reading, so there was no way for us to even tune. I will get that stuff addressed this winter since the car is now stored and I will get back at it in the spring.
Here is a pic of me lining up against a cobalt.

And a flyby at Robs shop from the day before track day. No muffler yet, that will get done sometime before the spring aswell.

Since ya never answered my text, why's this thing parked for the winter already? It's only September!

The cav went 14.330 @ 96.37mph. I'm sure the G8 will be a bit faster...one of these days I'll get it to the track!

I didnt answer your test cuz Im accross the pond in England.
The reason its parked is because it would need to be licensed, plated, e-tested, fully tuned and have an exhaust installed, THEN I would need to insure it. It wasnt worth it for a month of driving. So its parked.

England? WTF ya doin across the pond? Visiting the Top Gear test track? lol

And yeah I guess I can't fault you for that way of thinking.

BUMP lol

Man, looking at all these pictures I wanted to try to hide some wires inside the car, but probably not anymore by seeing all the work you did WIRE BY WIRE LOL.

But, I did want to ask since you cut off your heater core hoses from going into the inside of the car, is it ok for the coolant to flow like that? I know you and Fetter have done it and obviously the cars run, but im just confused about that. Im looking to clean up my bay like you did.

Yeah there's no issue at all. Just run a hose between the 2 coonections for the heater core hoses. If you do this, MAKE SURE you keep the little plastic connector that goes on the back hose or it WILL leak.

I also see you have spal fans as well. I have mine wired on a switch, I want to change it so the ecu kicks it on. Can you tell me how thats done with these fans?

For the fans, simple, just cut the wiring going to the stock fan connector and splice in the spal connectors, done. Seriously though, completely change your cars wiring to 2000+ so you can use your GM reflashed ecm and have everything function properly or change your ecm to 99 so that everything can function as it should and tune from there.

It was fun dping my brothers car! lol Best way to do it is:

1. Label evrything and group wires for each sensor when you tear apart the wiring harness
2. Pick a spot for the computer inside
3. Cut the harness where the inside portion will get to the firewall connectors
3. Connect all the sensors in the engine bay and route them to the firewall, this will show what wires need to be lengthened.
NOTE: If you dont relocate the ICM the only wires that will likely need to be longer will be the injector wires.

That is it! haha

I can throw up diagrams of the way I pinned my connectors as well, It has the color and label for each sensor we are running!
