Alright thanks BuiltNBoosted. For powder coating I guess I'll pass on the lime green then. No, seriously though I'll go with a silver/grey color. And yes, the engine bay is definitely getting a major cleaning!

I wish I remembered the name of this stuff my dad uses. Its something INSANELY cheap, they tell you to dilute it with water to use it for anything. I wish I remembered the name. If I remember ill look when I get home. its like $6 for a gallon of this insane stuff.

I know I know still not too much to see. We're still waiting on the rods and the head gasket.

Who thinks I should remove the side moldings?

Removal of the badges are in the near future. Sorry John Hays...

Another interior shot. Oh, and those are not the seats that will be in it come next month

These are in a better place in the shop now. The block will be redone black.

On the 95-99 Z24, I'd leave the side moldings because of the 'Z24' impression on the rear quarter section. I'd debadge otherwise.

Agreed. I would keep the side molding since it is a z24.

Your doing a great job, looks clean and neat. I would move those engine parts from the ground though. Otherwise looking swell.

Yeah they are. That's what I meant in the caption above the pic that they're in a better spot in the shop now. We're running out of room lol. Of course, the best place for it is in the engine bay

hahahaha that engine bay looks damn near show room now!

and im with them ^^^. leave the moldings. you wont like it without. i regretted taking mine off my white car in the end. it makes the sides look too ef'n broad on a cavalier. they need them on there to break up the lack of body line. i hate the way most look without them.

Love the work!
While your on ebay, get a new white coolant tank, that yellow throws that clean engine bay off.

Or buy mine that goes on the driver side instead of the passenger side Since you are going turbo, you could run your intake to where the old stock coolant tank was, just like mine and have way more room. Already powder coated silver, but you could get it coated white.

Only mention it since you have the engine bay gutted, wiring moved and gutted. Perfect time to clean that part up too. You let me know. Will make you a deal better than what im selling it for now.

Sweet new seats. Making this tan interior nice. Like I said before, the tan is one way I'm trying to make my car unique from most.

Getting some parts cleaned today. (Not fun)

Summit Racing Seats. They fit great. I took them out to make it easier to work around them, and so that we don't rip them or something.

Looking good so far.

Your thread makes me want to start one for my car and all the recent works thats been going into it.

I know you went the the 98 harness for simplicity and not having to rewire bumper to bumper but I would and did go with 00+ to use the gm crap flash as a start and to be able to tune speed density and not alpha n.
