Thats not the harness. I have the W body pump and I am using the following harness, as well as others here.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I had the brushed aluminum version of that same exact steering wheel. The covering started to peel off after about two months. Quite aggravation to say the least.

Shoot. I finally found a thread that had the one I put down as the right one, so I ordered it. I'll get with racetronix and see if I can exchange it before it ships. It looks like they changed the part number since you've bought the one you showed me. It is this one right? FPWH-001 - 1999-2002 LS1 Camaro / Firebird / Trans AM, 1998-2003 GM SUVs.

The pic is the same as the one you linked to me.

That's fine. When/if that happens to mine that will show my wife that I need a real Momo

I've been talking to Racetronix about the harness you suggested WHITECAVY. I'll copy and paste from one of the emails.

F99-FPWH is the old part number for FPWH-001
FPWK-017W is the upgrade to FPWH-001

Not sure if the upgrade does anything for us. I now ordered the FPWH-001. Thanks again.

You should be fine with what you ordered. As long as Racetronix knows what you need you sould be good. They know what our cars use so whatever they suggested will work. Good luck man

So close to running again. It's only been over a year since we started the project lol.

Question: For fuel pressure, should I use the BEGI FMU or get an adjustable FPR?

Looks good, and how are you tuning for boost?

First start up since the rebuild should be happening this week. All it needs is fluids and a battery at this point. I'll try to get a video of it.

How are the coils sitting propped up, what did you use?

My dad made a little bracket for me and then just painted it black.

SHE LIVES!!! What a great birthday present! The car starts and runs for about 15 seconds then dies. Not sure if it's fuel or the security system killing it. Time to really use HPT to turn things on and some things off. It sounds good though and all the guages work! Video coming soon.

15 seconds? Doesn't sound like the theft system, that is usually 3 seconds and then stalls.

Check idle and spark. Does that 97 harness and ecu swap really work?
So ur speed density now and can tune on the stock file?

Lol, yeah I guess the swap works. It's definitely fuel. It now has high imp injectors, and we've done nothing with HPT so far. Next is hooking up the wideband and start tuning. Coils and MSD box are done with great spark.

Okay well make sure your injector constant is correct. Mine was off.....just a tad bit (I did the math wrong...LOL) and the car ran okay but it ran sooo much better once I had the correct constant dialed in.

Got back from Afghanistan, thanksgiving weekend...big updates coming next month. I did purchase a TTR upper motor mount today. Tuning with hpt is the only thing really needed to start driving this thing. I'm also looking at options for getting the Wilwood front big brake kit. Oh, tires for the 17s are also here now.

So it is running? Last post it was shutting off (sounded like theft lock) got that worked out?

Even on stock tune it should drive ok as long as you stay out of boost.

It runs for about 15 to 20 sec then shuts off. We went from low to high imp injectors. We were thinking that is the main problem. Fuel pump and filter are good...spark as well
