Making room for the 3 Kinetik 2,000 amp power cells. Flush into the floor. Raising the rest of the floor to mount the air ride under and give my 13W7 a nice smooth area to rest.

No more key marks.

New door. No dents. :-)

next up is the body kit, hood and truck. EVERY surface of blue will have New Paint, Flakes and Clear. Bottom of hood, trunk, backside of doors etc.

Yeah, needed it done for years. No longer use a spare tire. :-) My goal once completed is to have a show quality, that is functional and performs in every area that has been modified. Not just a flashy system, but a flashy system that performs. Not just a dressed up engine, A dressed up engine that actually performs etc. The paint is just icing on the cake. I'm extremely pleased so far.

GETTING SOME WORK DONE

BATTERIES FIT GREAT

NOW FOR SOME DYNAMAT EXTREME

Re: Long overdue Update
Friday, December 16, 2011 11:35 AM
hey james great work on the cavy man, i have a quick question how did you run dynamat to the rear of the quarter panels to quiet the ride or did you just place it on the floorboards, doors and inside the trunk area

Modding my j since I found the org

Re: Long overdue Update

In the rear quarters too. In the pics here you see 36sq ft of FatMat. I'll never make that mistake again. The roof, doors and qaurters have Dynamat eXtreme

Here is the FatMat when it was first installed. ( I still had rear 6x9's) Damn that was long ago.

My car stunk every time it got hot in the summer, and the Tar/Asphalt they used pretty much melts out and leaves everything sticky.

I'll Only Buy Dynamat eXtreme from now on based on my experience of the two.
