The bottem flare is what makes the 00-02 wing.

Im gonna have to go with John on this one. What you described Brad is just basically the standard ugly Phase 1 and 2 spoiler.

I'm still blowing polish out of my nose... lol.

I'll be honest I'm not completely happy with it, the brake fluid that was on it did a small number on the aluminum which made it hard to polish it clear. It's 1000x better than it was when I got it but I didn't get it up to the mirror finish I wanted, and I certainly didn't want to sand it. There are a ton of tough areas to get to on that thing, surprisingly.

Just a little update. I have been driving the car daily for a couple weeks now. I will be driving to Michigan near the end of may for the. JBOM BBQ, so I wanted to give it a really good test before then. I drove out to Kingston today to help out my buddy Chris with his car. It's a 500km road trip. Car took it like a champ. Used 1/2 tank of gas for the entire trip and it went off without a hitch.
As for the manual rack, I had one little hiccup last week where it skipped a tooth turning right when dry steering. I removed the pre-load nut and set it straight and gave it a little more pre-load, it has been perfect since.
I'm thinking Rob will want to give it a final once over and then he will start selling them.
I would show pics, but the car is absolutely filthy. Lol

Well today SUCKED. I have the Racetech overdrive crank pulley. We have known from the start that it didnt fit right, The inside lip was too large and it contacted a front cover bolt. We spaced it out a tad and it kept chewing belts. Recently I developed a pretty sizeable oil leak from the front crank seal. So I got a new one and today we got it up to replace it, it went downhill from there.
This is the shaft of the pulley, it looks like the OD was a little too big and the seal wore 2 grooves into it.

You can kind of see the groove that has also been worn into the inner lip from contacting the front cover bolt.
After that groove got made in the pully, it actually mad a lip going inwards towards the front cover, this is what it did to my chromed cover.

Random engine pic, @!#$ty at best.

Back to stock for now.

I am going to take the pulley to the machine shop that my work uses and see what they can do with it. I NEED to get this thing back on. I lost 2 psi of boost, I can barely hear the supercharger now and the car feels sluggish as hell. Hopefully it can get fixed this week and I can get it back on next weekend.

They should be able to chuck it in a lathe and turn down the snout and put a sleeve on it that's the correct diameter.

I might be late to the game and might have missed the answer to my question but what did you do with the pulley for the power steering pump after you did the manual rack???

The 2.4 doesn't use a pulley for the power steering pump. It is driven directly from the cam.

Exactly what he said. If you look back in the thread, I posted a pic of a polished block off plate made by McMoney. That was to block off where the pump used to go.

Thats pretty badass. Thanks. On my 2.8 it has a pulley I might want to go to a manual steering setup and was wondering what to do with the pump pulley.

Snout diameter should be 2.000" +/- .002 per GM specs.

I included a pic for help.

Thanks alot man. I will go get the pulley from Robs and drop it off at the machine shop. I NEEEEED it back on, I dont even like driving the car right now.

I know mine is not the same as the Racetech one. So the machine shop really needs to look at your pulley before they modify it.
