I'm running the cables that came with the kit. Sadly though, they aren't working out too well for me. Right now we don't have the bracket on for them because the parking brake would randomly lock on or not release. Without the bracket, it holds the car, but BARELY. Definitely doesn't hold the car if you wanna do a burnout at the track.

I had to shorten the brackets on mine to get the brakes to work correctly

And they are working properly?

Yes, they are working properly.

Forgive me for not knowing, but where is your coolant reservoir? LOL, I'm gonna be deleting my a/c, and looking in that area in your pics, noticed that was gone too.

I deleted the pressurized bottle. If you look at the upper rad hose, the filler is in line with that. The overflow goes from there to an unpressurized bottle in the fender well.

Well put a couple hundred km on the car today. So far the manual rack is working out great and feels awesome everywhere except for dry steering. lol
Car finally got a wash and wax today, so clearly pics were needed.
My buddy Pat and I, yes those are my old rims. This is a car I did a 3400 swap on a couple years ago. This was pre-wash. lol

All washed and waxed.

This is a pic of the unpressurized bottle in the wheels well. Its from a 2000 Maxima.

This is the Moroso filler I got from Summit, notice the bleed line, that goes to the overflow.

Then for the lower rad hose, I ditched the stock one and just put in a flexible one that you can buy at any parts store.
I also just ran a hose from the waterneck on the side of the head directly to the rad which bypassed where it would go into and out of the factory bottle.
Pretty simple, only cost me about $50 total and it looks a @!#$load better.

You're right, it does look a lot cleaner under the hood. I had an idea about a mock 55-gal drum for a coolant reservoir, with a neck and cap.. but the idea of hiding it away seems better, especially since I could use more room under there when it comes time to re-route my intercooler piping.

I was thinking about wrapping a 2000+ z spoiler in CF. But then I looked at the car and said no way. I LOVE how it looks like this.

You know, 4 years ago I would have agreed with you 100%. But cav's with shaved trunks (and even Sunfires) have REALLY grown on me.

Growing tastes I guess.
