All four spindles are from the 00 Malibu as well as the hubs. Running 5x115 to 5x100 wheel adaptors. I'm modifying the spindles to accommodate UPPER and lower control arms, A-frame style with heim joints.. Building a full tubular frame/full cage to help drop some weight and make it a little more rigid, being that it's a vert. Other than the geometrics of the suspension, the build is pretty easy. Just need a TIG machine, don't want to MIG the frame. TIG is supa sexy. The front bumper and fenders are molded fiberglass and carbon hood. The rear will be molded as well, cutting out all of the factory metal. The doors have been shaved down as well, about 50lbs of metal out of each door. I tapped in new threads and bolted a 2.2 throttle body spacer to the LNF intake and ported the bolt holes that mount it to the head. Plan is to weld a LS adaptor to it so I can run a bigger bore throttle body. A lot more needs to be done, with no time to do it. The right hand drive was made capable due to the motor being moved to the back. Turned the spindle around to put the steering gear (cobalt sealed gear) in front of the front axle. Pretty simple.

I have 2008 corvette headlights and fog lights that I'm installing. But I'm making my own housing for the dual projectors instead of using the factory corvette headlight housings.

Xian was telling me about this the other day. It's a long long way from the last time I saw it. Can't wait to see it completed.

Sorry about that. I completed the right hand drive about 2 years ago. The first thing I did after going Eco.

No but the full cage with door bars will suffice instead.

not really a how to, but can tell you what i did exactly.

Here are the 08 corvette fogs and projectors that im molding in when im not too, too lazy. I have some foam balls that i be using to shave in the shape for each projector and complete headlight housings. Going to try to atleast make a mold of one assembly sometime over the weekend. we shall see.

This thread just keeps getting better and better!

So you molded the front bumper to the Carbon fiber hood? Is it going to come up all in one piece to access the engine bay?

Are you installing Lexan windows? So now power windows?

Well i just cut the hood back out of it b/c of the fuel cell and trunk space are now moved to the front. Too much hassle to remove and fill up. The only factory glass is the windshield, being that i still will be on the street with it from time to time. No power windows. Fixed windows, might make the door windows bolt in easily that way i can remove them to cruise without them in on a hot day.
