The pressure plate bolts are M7X1.0 a very odd thread. I just had my flywheel machined to accept 3/8X24 hardened button head bolts.
Currently #4 in Ecotec Forced Induction horsepower ratings. 505.8 WHP 414WTQ!!!
Currently 3rd quickest Ecotec on the .org - 10.949 @ 131.50 MPH!!!
I did the ARP's on mine. You will have one or two left over when you get the kit since its the opel kit.

If you have any trouble finding the bolts pm me, I have a very good line on this type of thing
Mike, did ypu think I was goin eco??? lol
Thomas, thanks man. Yup I was looking for the pressure playe bolts which I found locall at jegs. I already have the flywheel bolts
KC- thanks, I found the bolts I needed.
Not much of an update but Ive been working on my new harness. Stripping sensors that I do not need. I tell ya, the manual harness is a lot lets cluttered than the auto one was, geez. I now have a pile of wires I no longer need. I have yet to strip the loom off, I wanted to cut off sensors, then re-loom it all.

Make sure you put loctite on the pressure plate and flywheel bolts. They may look like they come with it already on there, but they don't.
Will do buddy, thx.

No, just thought all Getrag flywheels were the same thread pitch on presure plate bolts. My mistake.

I never thought i would see you swap to a 5-speed in a million years.
But since you are... i have a b&m shifter/knob sitting around for the getrag. not sure if im gonna be doing anything with it, so if youre interested let me know.

You would think that its loctite, but ask Jon (Airtronics) about that. He thought that was loctite and just installed them like that. Less than 500 miles and he had to take out the trans and take all those bolts out, loctite them and re-install. They came so loose that the flywheel was actually rattling around.
^ That sounds like installer fault.
Almost all bolts GM sends us has the "loctite" on it, which is, in fact, loctite.
Proper book torque is key.
Just a tiny update, no pictures because there is no use for pictures of A LOT of wiring that has been removed lol.
Out of the white car I have taken out the interior and engine harness, its gutted. The engine and auto trans is ready to pull, Just waiting on time, having a 9 month old is time consuming, that is why I am not further in this project.
Once the motor and trans are pulled the car will be towed to my fabricators house to get the engine bay work done. From there will go to the painters to get the bay sprayed a color other than white, nope not black either.
In the mean time i have a parts pile for the powdercoater.
Then from the painter it will make its journey to my new house that we close on July 20th. 2 car garage again!!! yaaaaay LOL.

Like said, just take your time. its going to be there when you have time and want it to be there.
As of right now im trying to get the Diff out, damn thing is the last to come out of the 4T40's lol. Im so glad I do not have to put this big ol thing back together again.
Good news so far though, the guy did indeed install the Raybestos clutch packs, the name is stamped on them. So im ASSUMING my TG LSD is in there as well, we shall see!

No Idea, I still can't get the diff out to check. Everything else is out. I do not know what to look for as far as wear or slippage. I do know nothing seems to be broken with any of the gears I took out.
