Hey guys can some one explain the ttr k brace ? Does it brace the bottom of the motor ? Worth it if im doing coils/ttr mounts all the way around, aswell as strut bars? Going on my sedan so wana make it handle as good as possible. Anyone else running one ?

It triangulates the subframe to prevent flex.

pretty sure he is, if your'e looking to add bracing to the car don't miss out on putting a k-brace on. well worth it. like your project, though i'm not entirely sure of the brown bandana stuff ya got goin on, but hey, it's your car

Actually I only have the old rksport subframe brace which ties it together but does not triangulate. It's on the to do list.

Not going to lie... if thats 6-7 hours in, that does not look good. You are wet sanding correct? I wet sanded mine for about 2 hours and it was mirror chrome looking.

Hahah dont think ya comprehend this is a canadian car from quebec, meaning 10 yrs of snow and salt. Aluminum pitts up here in the great white north. Started with with 180 n went back down to 40 grit so i havent even begun polishing just removing the dirt/grime.

The pitting is unreal, will polish like yours when time comes but thanks for the helpful words. No rush just something to do when bored

Hey man I'm runnin the ttr k-brace it helps a lot I am also running the addco front and rear sway bars with poly endlinks still gotta fdo the poly a-arm bushings and I will complete mine I also have the front and rear strut bars along with the koni yellow struts and koni sport springs noticed a huge difference from the stock set up...

Starting to rip the motor apart/out.

Nrg wood grain wheel in, looks and feels good. Got on grinding rust out and rust check flat blacking the parts of the car that will be unseen/ unpainted. Also started removing engine wiring harness, so when the time comes to drop nd rebuild it will be smooth Nd easy. Planning on tucking most wires when motor is out

Not quite sure tho where your going with this with the bandana fabric and a wood grain steering wheel. Is this some trend now doing wood grain steering wheels? I'm seeing it a lot now on cars so just wondering

Haha thanks corey, i didnt do it to be part of a trend, rather to try and bring a little class/ pop to an otherwise plain interior. I always disliked the beige headliner, and seen alot of ppl wrap them and come out fairly nice. I looked thought pages and pages of random fabrics and found the bandada. Never seen anyone do bandana interior let alone brown, so i decided on going that route. I like being different then others partially why i didnt get a nardi wood grain. A very nice/expensive wheel, yet again tho it has been done. I want to be unique. A couple plans have been made that will make ppl say wtf? But i know i will love it and enjoy every second building/beating the piss outta this little car when its done.

Finished the passenger side of the car, grinded out minimal rust then rust check flat blacked it to match the rest of the front end. Also took all the from accessories off the front of the l61. I removed the full exhaust, aswell i have got all the wires ready to be pulled outta the bay and tucked. Toyo tails are on there way, along with tein ss-p coilovers. I have done ample research on the LNF swap on an L61 and i think thats the way im swaying right now. Would love to hear opinions on the swap, pros, cons. All help very much appreciated. Pics when i get home cuz my phones garbage.
