I'm 100% behind this.

Ooooohhhhhhh pair it with your proposed AWD setup and you'd have a sweet winter shredder.

Hey, in other thread you comment in, you said you wanted to run 215/75/15, not sure about back spacing on wheels but you may have problems. If you lift it like the first picture from bottom of the strut, you might be okay. But if you are doing spacer from top of strut, I think the tire will hit spring perch.

I run 205/75/14s on stock steelies for winter(this winter Im lowered on Sportlines now) and I have maybe 1/8-3/16" clearance between tire and front spring perch. On the rear, the sidewall of tire has like 1" I believe? On front full lock, I have less than 1/4" on wheel wells as well. If your wheels space the tires out far enough, you might clear the spring perch but still might have issues with wheel wells.

205/75/14 26.11" diameter and 8.07" wide
215/75/15 27.7" diameter and 8.46" wide

If it was me, Id stick with a 26" tire, with the stock suspension, the car had the offroad/rally look to it. I still have the factory suspension and it was going to go back in if I had any rubbing but I have no problems, it plows through +12" of snow so Im happy, I had to make a little plastic (skid plate) to cover up between rad and front bumper or else all the snow will plug the rad and turn into ice. and car will start overheating, I had issues last year in deep snow. a little still goes through the cut outs in front bumper but not much.
You could always go with bigger tires down the road but Id watch the height. I myself may down size to 195/75/14 when these tires wear out but we will see....

Hope you get better soon and I'll keep watching for updates....

Darn I thought I would have the first sunfire with a bull bar. So much for originality points . I really like this though

finally had some time (and motivation) to finish and install the bull-bar.

it's still not quite done, but I have some good ideas on where to go with it now.

tires in front are shot. so wheels/tires are next.

I love this build. But it needs some lighting a lift and matte black paint.

Camp would work too but it has to be the forest colors to look right that way when you're tearing up the trails he's invisible to the cops.
