Nice job!

Looks like you've made more progress on the body. Why updates?

Looks like it's going to be a great build.

Did it go boom or are you just building beforehand?

Not sure if he's still planning on putting the rest of the cav body on, but it would be sick to leave it a vert and make an removable hardtop using a stock cav roof. Also you should get a racepak cluster.

That is the plan.

Here are some updates:
Block/girdle/head/pan are all painted cast aluminum color to keep that stock look

The head is getting ready with: LNF valves, ZZP springs, Saab turbo cams/gears, ported/polished, valve job and decked, polished cam slots

The block is getting ready for a devcon upper block girdle (I will do a thread on this process later):

New shifter cable bracket to help smooth out the throw and reduce flex:

Cut some weight from the water pump being that Im running an electric pump:

Sorry if I missed it but are you deleting the balance shafts or running neutrals. Deleting them and not even running that second chain would be bad ass. I really wanted to run an electric pump and do that with mine.

He did his own neutrals. basically grinding the stock ones down and left them in the block, but no chain. That is how the motor was when we dynoed it.

I was with him and the car all weekend. Saturday morning it had about 15-20 miles on the new motor. I worked on a new tune most of the wekend, to find what appears to be a bad IAC. Motor is strong and moving alot more air. Should be seeing a video of it on 1320.com soon.

What do the fenders look like from the side? I enjoy seeing progress on this car.

I hate to say but Im not loving it. The fenders look decent in the front but behind the tire does not match the flow of the vehicle at all.

I'm gonna disagree with the last post. I love the build! The only thing I'm not liking is the front fenders. Just my opinion.

The front fender design is such a stark contrast from the rear. I think if the backside of the rear flare was more squared off it would flow much better.

That being said, the fab work put into this car is epic!
