Jealous of the turbo sport hood and to sport filler. That hood would be the only reason I would consider a 00-02front end swap

Thanks guys!
The newest update: i took the valve cover off the new motor and found some bad stuff!

not even sure what would even cause this to happen. but i did say f it imma get a LSJ head and put some work into the motor to make it truly my own build. so this changes this the build to a turbo build. but i do have some good now:

next update should be after i get all the wiring situated and the new 00+ getrag trans mounts are in/ welded up. STAY TUNED!!

The lash adjuster failed and it kicked the follower out. Happens sometimes with the older style lash adjusters.

pretty much lol. But it's seen better days and the whole reason I bought it was for the motor and it's starting to look like that was a bad idea with the motor bad and the body bad. But hell I'll figure something out!

Whores need lovin too Trey. I was just amused at how that car still keeps popping up. Good luck selling the blower.

Re: oh you though i was gone...
Thursday, March 05, 2015 6:12 AM
well the blower is actually in really good shape so i am planning to sell it now since i found an lsj head and a turbo kit i want to run. i ordered new head stud kit yesterday and once the blower is sold i'll begin the build on the motor.

its bagged with custom 4 link rear half. it's another project im helping with. only thing it needs is new tires and a good block to build so that'll be done in the future.

Well as promised this update will come a few new updates and parts!

got the new f23 transmission mounts welded in.

and then i touched up the bay with some elbow grease and some nice new spray paint where it needed touch ups

....and then i finished up putting in the new 00+dash and gettting everything to work minus a locked up blower motor and i still have to figure out why the dash has a weird wave up near the windshield..

after that i mounted the hood and front bumper to see how it all looked together...and i got the halos working

and i managed to snag some more new parts....

WELL>>>>>>>That's it for now, the next update will be when i put on the big brake kit....s#it i let that slip out......
