That 8.50 in the 1/8 is very impressive.

My best 1/8 with my charger setup was a 9.1 and ran a 14.1. I know the car can run in the 8's probably 8.8's.

Did you make the plexi back glass or have it made? Any idea how much it weighs vs the stock glass?

I think they only sell it if you buy the whole kit which was $1200. Also they are just sheets of lexan close to the same size I cut them down to make them work in the window frames.
Finally some one local with a j

Lexaan looks great. Also like those strap things that connect the bumper and fenders and those hood/trunk pins

Is that the glasstek dash? How was the fitment?

I might have to make a trip south sometime to check this thing out in person. (Unless you plan on going to the bash)

Spencer,
I questioned the same thing. Looks like the Glasstek dash. I know of a few companies that make the glass dashboards, but glasstek says 53 inches on their website. Stock appears to be roughly 52 1/2 - 53 so it should fit a stock bodied car. I like how the stock cluster was kept as well. Im thinking about doing this set-up and running a switch panel for the starter, pumps, fans etc and moving my gauges. This would prob eliminate some weight too since the radio and such would be eliminated.

Strat/vinny
Yea its a glastek dash fitment was so so there is a bit of modification to fit but it works. Hmmm I might bring it to the dash if it stays together after the tune.

Have you had the car on the scales since putting it all back together? (Sorry for all the questions but I love weight reduction lol)

Re: bracket car

Car has not been on the scales scince it has been rebuilt. The most weight that was lost was in the doors they were 75pnds each they are now 10pnds each.

Read my mind

Are you using the stock trunk latch with the hood pins or another means to fasten the lower part of the trunk lid?

Yep using stock trunk latch and hood pins to make it detachable. This way I was able to eliminate the trunk hinges.
