Picked up a few things for the car...

My old toyos

Aside from that, car still needs exhaust, alignment, and a retune.

Interesting... I seem to be missing those exact items from my parts stash.

Also, why are the tails not on the car yet?

That's the original subframe out of the car. Hasn't been repainted or powdercoated.

Just a few updates...

Traded my front Baers for a set of wilwoods

Got the brakes bled and the car back on the ground. Just waiting on some parts so I can get the new motor prepped and installed in the car

In the meantime, working on getting the spray paint off the vis hood so it can be recleared.

What is the smallest tire you can fit on the wilwoods?

I swear I seen someone using them under the stock LS-Sport wheels.

Awww yeah. Stock LS sport chrome wheels with 205/55/16 snow tires for storage purposes. This is on 15mm/20mm spacers! Still super sunk. lol.

I miss my Cavalier, even if it made 100 hp on a cold day and had more suspension then it deserved.

pretty sure Fetter and Karo ran 15's over wilwoods... but they aren't using your run of the mill wheel.

i've seen lss and even z 16" wheels run with spacers.

I'm thinking about larger front brakes for road course and half mile events.

I can easily get some Baer's, but I know how heavy they are and I believe 17's are the smallest.

The wilwoods are definitely lighter than my Baers were... and you need at least 17's as you said. You also need to be mindful of wheel design as my old 18's wouldn't clear the Baer caliper due to the design of the spokes. (At least not without a spacer)
