This is the motivation I need to work on mine. Been messing with RC trucks to much.

I don't think my lack of progress can be used as motivation, LOL!!

Speaking of lack of progress....cracked dash is out

The 99 gauge cluster does not play well with the 00-05 dash either, but that is another story

Now with some motivation with the bash behind me, time to put in some work

Starting an 00-02 Cav front swap for the intercooler. Picked up an 01 Z24 front bumper and the crush guard. The bumper is close to matching my existing Cayenne Red, but the clear coat is peeled off

Just mock-up at the moment. I had the wrong size bolts to test fit the intercooler.

Big upgrade here. 13.1" x 1.1" 2 piece rotors with 6 piston calipers

The Rota's just barely fit without spacers

Calipers need powder coated....not sure on color yet

Well after almost 10 years of sitting and 2 years since I worked on it last, I finally asked for help.

Big Thanks go to Andrew Samson and Chris Walters on helping me last weekend. I could not done any of this myself

Andrew pulled out all of the 99 interior and harness and replaced it with an 03 interior harness and 02 graphite interior, Getrag shifter and cables plus some of the parts I have been collecting for years

Chris and Andrew also pulled out the stock motor and trans

So awesome to see!!! One of the builds I have been waiting on. I love how clean the engine bay is for the age of the car.

What are you doing with the 99 harness and stuff....

Also, I will help if I can in anyway.

Since I could not find a Fetter made 00-02 gauge bezel like my 99 one, I bought a bezel from Ortiz

Of coarse I had to test fit it

The gauges almost fit. The mounting posts need trimmed down so they do not hit the stock gauge cluster

I am still debating if I am going to paint it to match the gun metal grey on the console and I have not been able to find anyone to wrap it in carbon fiber yet

Couple of weeks ago I had my GT3071r rebuilt, cleaned, new seals, bearing housing and turbine housing ceramic coated and balanced and upgraded to GTX3071r Gen 2 specs. Thanks to Tyler @ Art Gennari Turbo for rebuilding this for me
