Introducing My Money Pit...
Tuesday, April 15, 2008 10:57 PM
A little over four years ago, my mom gave me her 95 Cavalier Sedan when she got a new car. Since then I have been lurking around here, reading, learning, and wrenching around - pretty much everything except posting on here. Since I recently got a new camera, I figured what the hell, now is as good a time as any to show you the sedan Chevy should have made! (Just imagine a 2.4L engine in place of my 2.2)

This was when I got the car in 2004

And here it is today

Gauge cluster swap from a 96 Cavalier

Strut tower bar is bolted to the firewall, oh yes.

Before I had the side skirts

I know the drivers side skirt is falling off, the tabs on the bottom are missing. Plans for this year include some paint and bodywork, up close there are lots of nicks and chips in the paint and the clear coat is starting to peel. Comments are welcome!

That my friend is a clean sedan. I love the look of it, only thing I would possibly do is maybe tint the windows and paint the outer part of the mirrors. Otherwise leave it alone!

looks like the rubber on 16's is a bit of an overkill for a sedan w/ a 2200.

That's pretty much where I'd like to go with the body on my car. Very nice. It's good to see your paint is in such great shape.

this picture seriously could have been in a dealer brochure back in the mid 90s, if only they had made z24 sedans back then. very nice!
