i still dont see how come the cavaleir scored poorly on the side impact collisions..
Passenger side shouldn't go off in an impact like that.
However, if the driver did not go off either, side impact was likely too hard for the SIABs to have done anything useful, so they did not deploy. There are multiple requirements for them to deploy. Too little force as well as too much force.

im surprised that still have that in the junk yard.... that's way beyond junk. I though they would already crush it by now. Heck, I removed H.O. cams off an LGO at a junkyard and the next day they crushed it.

still has the eco in it. The front was not to tweaked to bad. Thats the most eco's i ever seen at a yard, i counted four.
Rear bumper didn't look torn! Should have grabbed it. Minor creases could be saved.

Yes and it was pretty rare....I think the 02 LSS had them available as well, but I don't remember for certain.

hmmm... must be pretty rare then. i just got a set of 04 ls sport seats and they didnt have any airbags. car was fully loaded as well...
maybe a state specific option due to regulations of some kind??

It's normally a special order option. Fully loaded isn't fully loaded without these
