New Project
Monday, July 06, 2009 11:11 AM
So I have not owned a Cav in years(10+). This project started with my 18 y/o nephew's totaled '99 base model 2.2L auto. I got it for $320. My father had put a new motor in it just a few months or so before the accident. Then I found a '99 Cav with a soon to blow motor 2.2L auto with power everything. Almost got it home, had to push it the last 500ft or so. Now the fun begins. Not sure yet what the end result will be, but first I need to do the swap. I'm hoping to have a reliable care for under a grand.

I am hoping for a good looking, reliable, economic car. So, with that in mind I will probably limit it to a body kit, stereo, and rims. I am in school and will be driving a long distance for work starting next year. I hope to have the motor swaped in the next two weeks. I work almost 70hrs a week so time is limited. I will post updates soon. Anyone got any suggestions for a good looking body kit? Rims? Other ideas?

I've always been a fan of the stock 95-99 Z24 kit personally.
