ok i got some updates, i got the 03+ bumper bolted on as a test fit and for some reason it seems like there is a decent size gap between the grill and the hood, Let me know what you guys think i could possibly do to minimize it.

Yes im using the 03+ crush guard with the L- Brackets that hold the bumper to the crush guard. it just doesnt seem to line well with the hood. I think the top of the bumper should be in line with the hood, but it just seems to stick out a little further past the hood. Ill prolly have to work with it some more and do some adjustments and see what i can come up with.

Alright i got more work done on the cav. I got the engine bay cleaned up a little bit and the engine was sprayed black to make it look a little more decent. After that i put the motor down in its 3rd Cav and got the tranny bolted up as well as the motor mounts. All thats left is hooking up the wiring harness and bolting up the brake booster.

Here are the pics.

Well the cav is almost ready for the road, just a couple more things to connect in the engine bay. It should be running tomorrow.

Alright new update I got everything all buttoned up in the engine bay, The Cav is running now, but i may have to change out the starter. It is kinda sluggish on first startup, and had to tap the starter a couple times. One thing i will do is put my new fuel filter into it and then get some seafoam and good gas into it. I was able to get a few pics so here they are.

Alright here are some new things that i found that need taken care of before the car is road worthy. Once i got the motor all hooked up i found that the starter needed changed out cuz it caused the car to have a sluggish start. So today i went and changed the starter in it, then i went to go bleed the brakes, and i found that i have a fuel leak. I jacked the back end up and found that the return line is leaking, so ill need to change that out. I also decided to look underneath my DD that im parting out and i found that it has a nearly brand new gas tank, there is very very minimal rust on the tank and there is no rust on the gas tank straps, so what ill do is swap out the gas tank while i replace the fuel return line.
