Hey guys,

Here is another installation I'm working on for a member here. I'm going to use this thread as a progress thread.

In this installation I'm using:
03-05 Cavalier Projector Headlights
H1 Bi-Xenon Morimoto Projectors
Gatling gun Shrouds
H1 5000k DDM Hid Kit

Shroud

Projector

Parts

I'm going to have these ready and hopefully back to the owner by the 17th. I'm sure I can meet my set deadline. This is going to be fun

Those look like the projectors I used, do they have the 'motorized' cutoff?

Here are some pics with the shroud on. The owner wants to keep them chrome for a more OEM look.

Sick progress man!

This has been on my "To-Do" list for quite some time.

Do you use The RetroFit Source?

Thanks and yes. They have great service and their prices are good.

Are you planning on blacking out the reflector? Do these mount in the OEM bulb hole or do you have to do some cutting?

Looks pretty good though. I just don't get why people are so scared of doing these themselves.... it's pretty easy.

I'm keeping the reflectors chrome. Yes, they mount in the bulb hole. However, some mild cutting in the back is required. Nothing a dremel can't handle.

I agree about the easy part. However, folks rather have piece of mind getting someone with some sort of experience to do it. Also, it can be time consuming due to the fact that you need to make sure everything is correct before sealing it all up.

Yeah I didn't mean to dock you on your efforts or anything, it's nice to see people doing things like this.

Are those the new Morimoto Mini H1's? And could you by any chance get shots of the backside?

1/2 way done in the back

Some dremeling will need to be done back here to fit the bulb holder, screws, washer, etc. I'll have pics of that being done tomorrow.

How the back of the housing fit into the reflector? Any gaps from the shroud?

There will always be some sort of gap behind the shroud. It isn't that noticeable unless your nitpicking.
