Don't think I ever showed JBO what I had done a while ago... thought you might like to see it.

John @ Revshift made me a custom tubular turbo manifold and downpipe. Shifted full spool down to 2500 RPM. Helluva difference, feels great!

Love it, AND auto correct? I need a header in a bad way, but my auto is killing me. Decent price?

Yep, automatic. Fits like a loose glove. Would've been easier to install if I had a v-band wastegate but we managed. It's a heck of a lot easier to bolt the manifold to the head than the log manifold due to the way the runners are.

Engine wise, a bunch; the trans has issues getting it all to the ground, it's slipping quite a bit lately. Anyways, supposed HP doesn't matter to me, all I care about is the track time. Dynos all read different. I'll be going with slicks this Friday.

But, spyhunter made 432whp on 15 psi with the eBay log manifold (and manual trans). I have a TiAl turbine housing, tubular manifold, and 21 psi with about the same curve as far as the spark advance, so I assume I'm making at least around there... sure as hell feels like it. Again, all I want is my 12.xx time. I'll be switching to a manual in the spring, and looking to run a faster time and get on the dyno.

I'm impatiently awaiting them. I tried to go last week, had my downpipe opened and everything, only to have it rain incessantly. Today, rain. Friday says dry so that's when I'm going.

My car will inherently be slower since I have an old, slipping automatic (226,600 miles). Can't wait to get an F23 with parts to transfer the power properly.

The auto's fine. I was highly impressed with the car.

First run was intended to be a baseline before I put on the slicks and opened the downpipe. Had lots of spinning off the line, and the headgasket blew 3 seconds into the run. I fogged the track up pretty good, and kept my foot in it. Two spark plugs' ground straps were gone, was only running on 2 cylinders at the end of the track and died. (full details with images) I have no doubt it will be very low 12s or even dipping into the 11.9 range in the spring with the tires on and exhaust open.. it feels good man. I am content knowing that this thing moves out, and look forward to the spring because I know it'll be a damn good timeslip.
