Mustang?! Why would anyone use one of those when SBCs are around? (Or is it a BBC, can't remember).

I'm so tired of post about V8s, RWD, AWD, and any other stupid ideas people have about doing stupid @!#$ like that.

You want a V8, buy a Cadillac, or an SUV, Charger, Mustang etc. something else. Want RWD, Mustang, Camaros etc, want AWD buy a Subaru.

There are people out there who like to customize and better there cars and motorcycles - and this does not just mean swapping rims, putting in a stereo, changing the air filter and covering the car with stickers to make it look rice.

Yes, but they also know where the limits are. And if you are saying that is all JBO members do, you need to open your eyes.

and some people have a sense of reality and money when it comes to doing things like this. if you have the money to piss away then go head but to me its not worth it when you could spend 1/2 of that on a faster car. in the end its all what you wanna do. if thats your goal, then go for it

1. you joined today
2. you actually searched
3. you bring this thread back for what reason??

there are alot of people on here that have just "swapped rims" and added a lip kit and have nice looking cars. i would like to think that 95% of the cars here are not "riced out".

Do some research and gain some knowledge. It is not expensive or hard to do. Knowledge will never hurt you. BTW It is better to stay silent and thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Yeah... You're right. Why learn more. Rims and a new bumper are a whole lot better.

i have plan one out and the cost of the suspension upgrades and structural was astonomical. the sawp can be down, but to be done right it is a pain in the ass. if you really think about it you can shorten and narrow an old caprice frame this way it gives you something that you work with. sawp the uni body to the new frame try to squeeze the engine and transmittion into the thing. plus not to mention the rear suspension has to be changed, because of the gas tank location you would need a fuel cell in the trunk and the exhaust system custom done. but hey what do i know, i have only worked on 3 170 mph cars and a mali-blazer. malibu body, blazer frame, 405 engine, dana 440's, and 35 super swampers. you know what i did to this car nothing, rims and a lowering kit, because when i want to faster i would rather be in something that could handle that speed.

i dont understand you at all. you are 37, and join a forum to tell people that are half your age that what they are doing is dumb. you speak as if everyone one of us has stickers and all these "ghetto mods". get a job instead of complaining over the internet about what we are doing. you joined for the sole purpose of starting some bs. you are probably some kid that asked about a v8 cavalier and got a response you didnt like, such as "search . . . ". then you probably made this name to come and complain about "rice"

a cavalier will always be a cavalier. why do most of us have one, because its cheap. if you want a v8, then buy a mustang, corvette, or charger. if you want to spend a ton of money and put a v8 into a cav go ahead. 99.9% of the people here do not have the funds for such a project, or just fell its a waste of time and money. with the money they save on that, they can buy a better car.

no matches were found because cavaliers do not come with a V8.

that's about it man

I have a Cavalier because my Saab was stolen and my Galant VR4 is in pieces in the garage. And because it was cheap. Now stop being an unclefukker and go rag on the real ricers. You'll find them in the automotive section at Walmart buying every sticker and plastic chrome plate holder they have on the shelf.

Oh, and KNOCK IT OFF WITH THE "CAN I PUT A V8 IN A CAVALIER" bullsh*t!

Apparently there is a place in Oregon that does the conversions and (also apparently) it costs $15k. Don't have a business name, I'll try to find out.
