well people I guess I am new here,, bought this 1999 cavy vert a few weeks ago with 142,000 kms, had lots of oil, non smoker, and some how got that knock in the bottom end,
I guess my question is I like to drive, so what should I do toss in a v6 or take my chances with another 2.4? or eco the dam thing wondering how much $$$. I can weld etc, good with wiring, just dont know what to do, some people here say the 2.4 is a great engine, for me this is my first small gm engine and I dont like the outcome sofar, in a perfect worl I'd drop in a SBC out of my impala or caprice but thats just a little to much fab'n.. any insite would be great as to the pros and cons as too my 3 different options of swaps 2.4 3.8 and the eco.. thanks guys..

Use the search tool, lots of good info on here about swaps. Many options for Eco, V6's, etc.
