2.2 header?

I was wodering if it would benifit my car any to get a header, but using all stock pipe?

thats how mine is i have header and mid pipe then from cat. all the way back is stock...except for muffler....If urs is anything like mine u will be pleasantly suprised at the performance and sound ur header will give ur car.

Ya my muffler is not stock either,what brand is yours, everyone is telling me to get pacesetter

well i bought mine from ebay... its a "m2" header and midpipe combo for 100 bucks...so far its been on about a yr now with no trouble...im very happy with mine

Well its a 97 2.2ohv not a 2200, I want to know if one off a 98+ will fit, because I found a pacesetter second hand for 150$, but it was bought for a 2000 cavalier 2200sfi

well the ebay 1 i bought said it would fit either motor...but i did search and ask the same questions when i was looking to get mine...but as far as pacesetter...idk

will it bolt up, yes, but gm moved the exhaust ports on the 2200, so the primaries will not line up correctly if you use the wrong header.

...You'll want to remove the black paint and use header paint to prevent rust. Check out the thread in Performance titled Exhaust Time, a complete exhaust system is relatively cheap.

eff that noise. want to prevent rust and reduce underhood temps 50+*? get the proper ceramic coated pacesetter for your car. don't have the cash? tough. save up. you'll be glad you did.
