I have a 97 sunfire gt and i want my Valve cover powder coated. So is there I can put a Cavalier valve cover replacement while for my sunfire is being painted. Like it says the 2.4l twin cam on it.

I think you are talking about the IDI cover(it has the ignition coils, etc in it), all 2.4l IDI covers are the same, sunfire or cavalier. You could also find one at a junkyard, get that one powdercoated/painted, then swap it over instead of taking yours off.

not a bad idea there, now if only I can pick a color. instead of taking mine off and shipping it to the place and be left with no car to go someplace. Is yours painted?
