Hello all

I am new to forums and wanted to post here to say hello. We just bought a 1999 Sunfire Conv, for our son. I hope to hear from many of you with any issues and help when needed.

If you had a $100 dollars what would be the first upgrade?

If you had $500 what would be the first upgrade?

Thank you

Welcome,

Oil Change, Lube, Filter
New spark plugs,
New air filter
New fuel filter
Transmission flush and filter
Coolant Flush
New shocks and struts
New rotors and brake pads

Basically fix anything that's mechanically wrong first, then maintenance maintenance maintenance.

Then cosmetics.

I would spend the first $100-$500 toward that.

Maintenance, intake, cat-back, header that's how I did mine. I also use pacesetter header and pacesetter cat-back. Last year I replaced the cat-back due to it rotting from inside out. The headers are about same age and are in great condition. Neither are armor coated but the old exhaust saw 2 winters.
