Motor mounts seem to help a little.

lower tire pressure, launch lower, and don't just dump the clutch, use it a little...

Hold around 2500 and slip the clutch out quickly while increasing throttle while trying not to spin...then hit 2nd

Lotsof things can be done. Adjust your driving. If you have wheel hop you need to let off, that is what breaks axles. Control arm bushings help, good suspension, better tires, adjust your tire pressure. Again if you get wheel hop back off.

Wheel hop sucks, almost cost me my electrical system (see my post in the boost forums) But im installing the RSM lower mount tomorrow so ill see how well that helps.

yeah it's not easy controlling that wheel hop. I keep going to the track and doing solo runs and well. sometimes I get a decent launch with no hop. sometimes I get a little hop. but it's hard to find that sweet spot on your launch. Maybe I'm just uncoordinated,

went back and tried a few things different. such as lower tire pressure. got my times down to a 15.86 at 86.06 mph but i hopped all through first gear. the other runs i only made low 16's with little to no hop. hum? hop is bad. hop is bad. hop is bad

lowering springs and control arm bushings got rid of wheel hop for me. On stock tires at least. We'll see if they wheel hop with stickier tires on Saturday.

Well i got my wheelhop under control off the line now, but as soon as boost starts to build hard in 1st gear sometimes it comes back... Eibach Sportlines are on the way so maybe that will help.

I have had the same problem at the track last year. I'm gonna try get either getting different springs or maybe a some coilovers. I might get the lower motor mount too, which I heard helps. But the upper one is just too much money! Let us know how much sportlines help!

Again?

Read

Yes motor mount inserts and filled mounts will help a ton.

Don't let it fester, it will break axles and then you'll be stuck.

Motor Mount Inserts are cheap, no excuse not to have them.

Control Arm Bushing also help

Better Tires also help ( I don't mean BETTER street tires either).

Read that link....

Rear end squats on launch - Wasted energy moving the car BACKWARD instead of FORWARD

Wheel Hop - Breaks: Axles, Tranny Cases, Teeth Fillings and anything else if can jar loose. Avoid it at all cost!

A tight chassis, suspension and good tires wil solve 95% of your traction problems...
